Twitter just announced Facebookization of it’s design strategy with inclusion of Cover pictures along with your background as reported by TechCrunch</a>. The Twitter for iPad got a major update today adding a new cover picture option on the same lines on that of Facebook timeline features. How to change your Header Image:

Just go to Settings

Under the ‘Design’ Tab, you can find the option of either Changing the Header Image or removing the Header Image

Please make sure the Header Size is of minimum 1252*626 pixels and with a max size of 5 MB

You can then choose your custom header and save the changes

The change takes Twitter on a more visual path where users can explore this option as also inspiring it as their Twitter Business Cards. Twitter wants the Brands to engage with their Followers via a more visual representation to display their aesthetics. It is still a much smaller brand change as compared to the whole Facebook re-structuring, but surely has a Business eye towards it. Below is how i have made use of the Twitter’s new announcement.

Do you love this new feature introduced by Twitter or do you think it is irrelevant and unnecessary? Do let me know your thoughts in the comments.
